Wow。。。 This was awesome！！Moon Touched is a new series by Elizabeth Briggs， and like all of her books I've read so far， I absolutely loved it。I was hooked from start to end。 It was such an intriguing story， and I even cried a bit。 These wolf clans are based on the zodiac signs。。。 And I love that the 13th sign is part of this！！ Ayla has been an outcast all of her life。 Born as a result from an affair with a human and dropped off to live with her wolf alpha father， she has been treated worse than a Wow。。。 This was awesome！！Moon Touched is a new series by Elizabeth Briggs， and like all of her books I've read so far， I absolutely loved it。I was hooked from start to end。 It was such an intriguing story， and I even cried a bit。 These wolf clans are based on the zodiac signs。。。 And I love that the 13th sign is part of this！！ Ayla has been an outcast all of her life。 Born as a result from an affair with a human and dropped off to live with her wolf alpha father， she has been treated worse than any second class citizen - not only does she not carry the Cancer pack mark， she also doesn't have the crab tough shell to save her from being hurt。 Not only does her parents despise her and beat her， she's also beaten by other pack members。 The only people to show her love and kindness are her brother and best friend。 Now she's 22 and able to attend the ceremony that will not only allow her to shift to get wolf but also potentially get herself a mate from a different clan。 Only things don't go exactly how she hoped they would。 Her "chosen" mate just happens to be the worst of the worst - Jordon， the Leo Alpha's son， who is cruel and despises her for being a half breed。 Only be rejects their mating and the Leo， Ares， and Taurus clans attack and kill her family and clan， and Ayla barely gets away。She is saved by Kaden， who is the Alpha of the 13th clan， the Ophiuchus， who aren't even supposed to be real。 They take her in and she trains to be part of their pack。 She feels a bond with Kaden but her mate bond is still intact。 She hates Jordon with all her being and agrees to be bait to take the other clan down。 Only things don't go exactly as planned again 。。。O。M。G。 this book was everything！！！ It ends on a cliffy， so I am now （in）patiently waiting for the next book to come out！！！！！！ Lol！ I love Kayden and Ayla together。。。 They are sooooo。。。swoony！！！ *Sigh* I give this book 5 stars！！！ Loved it and wholeheartedly recommend it！！I received an ARC for my honest review。 。。。more

This is my first read from this Author and I have to say that I am impressed！ This story sucked me in and carried me along for everything that was to come。 This is a Great shifter story， that I found to be original and Amazing。 I have no idea where we are headed in book 2， but I will be reading it ， without a doubt。 I loved it！！！！I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

I've only recently discovered the writings of Elizabeth Briggs and I'm not sure what took me so long because she is absolutely amazing！ In this book we meet Ayla， a hybrid wolf shifter who isn't exactly embraced by her pack or her species as a whole。 Things go from bad to worse for her when her Fated Mate rejects her and she is kidnapped by a rival pack。 The story then takes a roller coaster of emotions and twists that I never saw coming。 This is a fabulous start to a series and I cannot wait to I've only recently discovered the writings of Elizabeth Briggs and I'm not sure what took me so long because she is absolutely amazing！ In this book we meet Ayla， a hybrid wolf shifter who isn't exactly embraced by her pack or her species as a whole。 Things go from bad to worse for her when her Fated Mate rejects her and she is kidnapped by a rival pack。 The story then takes a roller coaster of emotions and twists that I never saw coming。 This is a fabulous start to a series and I cannot wait to see how the rest of the series progresses。 Just absolutely addictive！ 。。。more

Interesting wolf shifter story; love Ayla’s sass and that she stands up for herself。 Unfortunately， standing up for herself gets her into some bad situations， but she’s a survivor。 Ayla is dealing with a heaping pile of junk because these shifters are too caught up in their stupid outdated ideals; I always hate when shifters are like that， but I do like seeing them brought down in the end。 Ayla’s an outcast to her current pack because she’s half human and born at the wrong time; her dad is alpha Interesting wolf shifter story; love Ayla’s sass and that she stands up for herself。 Unfortunately， standing up for herself gets her into some bad situations， but she’s a survivor。 Ayla is dealing with a heaping pile of junk because these shifters are too caught up in their stupid outdated ideals; I always hate when shifters are like that， but I do like seeing them brought down in the end。 Ayla’s an outcast to her current pack because she’s half human and born at the wrong time; her dad is alpha， but he cares nothing for her。 Her father abuses her and he allows other pack members to abuse her as well， so Ayla is hoping she ends up mated outside of her current pack at the upcoming Convergence ceremony; where shifters of the right age （22） shift and will possibly find their mate。 Things go horribly wrong when Ayla’s mate is someone that denies her and his pack starts killing her current pack， so Ayla runs off on her own。 Luckily， she ends up being saved by Kaden’s pack， but once again， she’s having to deal with trying to fit in and there’s still nefarious individuals out there causing problems。 There’s a connection between Kaden and Ayla， but Kaden’s attitude gets in the way。 Plus， Ayla has that other jerk mate that doesn’t want her; not a fan of when the whole supposed soulmate thing ends up being wrong and the supposed mated wolves still feel an attraction towards each other。 Makes the connection less important if there’s issues with it; there’s no point of believing in soulmates when it could end up with you being rejected and not actually liking your mate。 I’m hoping there’s something unnatural in the works in Ayla’s mating。 I’m also not a fan of the whole can’t control themselves during heat scenario; that’s one of my least favorite things included in some shifter books。 Other than that， I really enjoyed everything else！ Good， passionate chemistry between characters; Ayla and Kaden woowee！ Kaden is great; I enjoy his gruff， protective nature！ Interesting characters and story scenarios; the zodiac signs being involved with the shifter packs was cool！ Good writing too; I enjoy this author’s writing style！ This has a cliffhanger ending， so you’ll want to continue on with the next books for the full story。 I’m disappointed that certain characters fell for some easy manipulation by the bad guys， but I have hope！ Ayla is a tough lady！ Excited for the next one！ 。。。more
